These ketogenic and low-carb Protein Waffles Keto are truly crispy and loaded with protein. These tasty and nutritious protein waffles are made using your preferred whey protein powder, eggs, water, and baking powder.

Ingredients
  

  • Whey protein powder, 1/2 cup
  • 3 Tablespoons of sour cream, 1 Egg
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • butter and sugar free syrup for serving

Instructions
 

  • Spray cooking spray into your waffle maker and heat it to medium.
  • Stir the protein powder, egg, sour cream, baking soda, and salt(medium bowl).
  • Pour half of the batter into the waffle iron (less batter for smaller waffle irons), and cook as directed by your waffle iron.
  • Butter and sugar-free syrup are served on the side.

Notes

252 calories, 8g fat, 8g carbohydrates, 2g fibre, and 36g protein are included in each serving.
Although I can't guarantee it will work, you can try this with different protein powders. I've heard that Quest protein powder works great in recipes that call for protein.
I revised this recipe and substituted sour cream for the water. The resulting waffles were even tastier, in my opinion.
