Keto Baba Ghanoush

Keto Baba Ghanoush is a delicious and low-carb alternative to Hummus. The dish is originated in Lebanon and widely enjoyed over the whole Middle East and Mediterranean Region. Keto Baba Ghanoush is simple and convenient to make. You just have to roast the eggplants in the Oven and then take out its flesh and mash it then simply mix it with the other ingredients. It has only 4.3 grams of Net Carbohydrates Per Serving.

EQUIPMENT:

  • An Oven
  • Baking Pan 1
  • A Mixing vessel

INGREDIENTS:

  • Tahini Paste 2 tablespoons.
  • Medium Egg Plant, One.
  • 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil, extra-virgin
  • Half a teaspoon of Garlic, Minced
  • Pepper & Salt To Taste.
  • 1 tbsp. Juice of Lemon.
  • Cumin, A pinch
  • Fresh Herbs & Paprika powder for garnishing.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Take a Baking Pan and cover it with a sheet of parchment or Aluminum Foil to separate the eggplants from the Pan Easily.
  2. Set the Oven at 200 Degrees Celcius.
  3. Cut the Eggplants vertically and create holes on the skin side using a fork or any clean pointed object.
  4. Place the eggplants with skin side up on the covered Baking Sheet once they are done with cutting and making of Holes.
  5. Bake them for around thirty-five or Forty minutes or till the flesh of the eggplants gets tender.
  6. Wait for them to come to a normal temperature so that they are easy to handle once they are out of the Oven.
  7. Now Take out the tender flesh of the Eggplants from their skin and add it to the bowl.
  8. Mash it nicely with the Masher.
  9. Now add the remaining ingredients and Combine them all well.
  10. Sprinkle some of the Paprika Powder and fresh Herb of Your choice and your Keto Baba Ghanoush is good to go.

TIPS:

Use the Smallest size of Eggplants which are usually Italian because they are least bitter.
