Keto Buffalo Chicken Chaffle are very tempting and delicious. These chicken chaffle are prepared in just ten minutes, perfect for those days in which you have a busy schedule in the morning. Chaffle is a cheese waffle. The difference between chaffles and waffles is that chaffles are made with just cheese and eggs; while waffles are made with flour, eggs, or leaveners to rise them. These Keto Buffalo Chicken Chaffle are also low in carbs with just 4g of carbs, 0g of net carbs, 1g of fiber, and 22g of protein in them. These keto chaffles are made with ingredients that are completely keto-friendly and easily available in the grocery store or the pantry of your house.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Diced celery, 1/4th cup
  • A quarter cup of almond flour
  • 0.25 cup of crumbled feta cheese
  • A teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4th cup + 1 tbsp of red hot sauce (Frank’s)
  • Two eggs (big)
  • A quarter cup of (shredded) mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup of shredded chicken
  • Shredded cheddar cheese, 3/4th cup

INGREDIENT NOTES:

BAKING POWDER:

  • We use baking powder to have airy and soft chaffles. It also helps to raise them a little.

EGGS:

  • Use eggs at normal surrounding temperature. Try your best to use the big-sized eggs.

FLOUR:

  • Chaffles are mostly flourless with only cheese and eggs. You may include the keto flour of your choice. It will have some solid chaffles to use as a replacement.

CHICKEN:

  • I shred the chicken by myself. We can also use the pre-shredded chicken to make these chaffles or utilize some leftover meat turkey or chicken.

CHEESE:

  • A combination of cheese is used in these chaffles t give the flavor and texture to these chaffles.

CELERY:

  • Celery is included in these chaffles; you may also include any low-carb vegetables of your choice like different colors of bell peppers, or green onions.

INSTRUCTION:

  1. Mix the flour of almond and baking powder in a small dish and put aside.
  2. Spray liberally with low-carb non-stick spray after preheating the waffle maker to medium-high heat.
  3. Include the eggs in the bowl (large) and beat till it gets foamy. Beat in spicy sauce until thoroughly blended.
  4. Mix the flour mixture into the eggs till both are mix hardly.
  5. Mix well after adding the shredded cheese.
  6. Add the chicken shreds and fold.
  7. After the waffle machine has been prepared, add the chaffle batter and cook until the outside is browned for four minutes or so.
  8. After removing from the waffle maker, repeat the step and make all the chaffles.
  9. Serve the chaffles after plating them and garnishing them with feta, celery, and/or spicy sauce.

TIPS:

  • Properly grease your waffle before adding the batter each time to avoid sticking the chaffles.
  • You may use coconut flour or sunflower seed flower or make it without flour.
  • Adjust the timings to make these chaffles according to the model of your waffle maker.

STORAGE INFORMATION:

FRIDGE:

  • Put the chaffles in the air-tight bag and store it for three days.

FREEZER:

  • Put the chaffles in a single layer in a tray and freeze them. Then transfer the freeze chaffles in the sealed and store it for a few months.

  • These buffalo chicken chaffles make a great breakfast, lunch, or brunch.
  • You can serve these savory chaffles with the salad or sautéed vegetables.
