We make this soup with several ingredients, such as crab meat, garlic, butter, shrimp, paprika, cayenne pepper, seafood stock, cream cheese, onion, celery stalk, white wine, salt, parsley or chives, heavy cream, lemon juice, and black pepper.   • Use the shrimp and crabmeat to prepare this seafood bisque. Crab provides the slight sweet taste, and shrimp adds the sharpness. Use the fresh crab or water-canned crab to prevent the excess sugar content.

ONION, GARLIC & CELERY:

  • Add the celery,  garlic, and onions to this recipe. Onions provide the indulgent flavor, garlic provides the savory taste, and celery provides the crunch.

BUTTER:

  • Butter provides the indulgent taste and smooth texture. Use the grass-fed butter to make it healthier. It also boosts the fat content in the dish.

CAYENNE AND SMOKED PAPRIKA:

  • Cayenne pepper and paprika provide the smoky flavor and spice in the dish. This will make it more flavorful without the carbs.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Gently melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Include the celery, garlic, and chopped onion.
  3. Cook for five minutes, till it gets fragrant and becomes softer.
  4. Mix in the cayenne pepper and smoked paprika, and then cook for half a second till it gives an aromatic taste.
  5. Scrape the pan’s edges after including the white wine.
  6. Slowly cook till the quantity of soup becomes half.
  7. Include the seafood stock and lightly boil it on a low flame.
  8. Slowly cook for ten minutes to provide the flavor.
  9. Lower the flame and mix in the cream cheese and heavy cream till it gets smoother and completely mixed.
  10. Include the crab and shrimp mixture.
  11. Cook for four minutes till the shrimp get opaque and pink.
  12. Include black pepper, salt, and lemon juice as a garnish.

TIPS:

  • Don’t cook the shrimp for a long time as the textre will become rubbery.
  • Blend half a quantity of soup to make a smooth consistency, and it also makes it thicker.
  • Use the fresh seafood for the best taste; though frozen also works. We have to defrost them properly to avoid the thin textre.
  • We have to use the almond milk to make the light textre of this soup
