EQUIPMENT:

  • A Bowl for mixing, Large.
  • 1 Oven.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Two cups of Peanuts, Salted.
  • Erythritol Sweetener ¼ cup.
  • One-fourth teaspoon of powdered Nutmeg.
  • 1 tsp. of Cinnamon, Ground.
  • Melted Butter, 2 tablespoons

INSTRUCTIONS:

PREPARATION:

  1. Prepare a Baking sheet by covering it with a sheet of Parchment paper.
  2. Set the oven to 300 F and start working.

COATING:

  1. Combine Sweetener, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg Powder to make a mix in a small vessel.
  2. Take salted peanuts in a Big Bowl, add Melted butter, and above-prepared mix. Coat the peanuts well.
  3. Spread the coated peanuts on the prepared Baking Sheet in a single layer and place the sheet in the preheated Oven.

BAKING:

  1. Bake for about twenty minutes or till they become crispy and crunchy like toffees with their golden brown colour.
  2. When you take them out of the Oven, Allow them to cool completely before touching them.
  3. Break the large clumps once cooled.

TIPS:

It is suggested to use Swerve Brown or Erythritol sweetener in place of liquid allulose if you want your peanuts to be Non-sticky and have a perfect toffee-like hardness.
The use of liquid allulose doesn’t affect the taste but it keeps the toffees sticky and soft after roasting in the Oven.

STORAGE INFORMATION:

As they are completely roasted in the Oven so, they can keep fresh and crispy in any sealed jar on the countertop or bedside table for up to 14 days.

Keep the sealed jar containing toffee peanuts in the Fridge if you want to store them for more than 14 days.

Some people are allergic to peanuts or don’t like to eat peanuts so you can use any nuts of your choice to make the toffee snack from this recipe.

Can we use any other sweetener if erythritol isn’t available?
