Keto Tso’s Chicken is a delicious dish. It provides the same restaurant-style taste and has a sweet and spicy taste. We combine the garlic, coconut aminos, keto sweetener, and ginger to make a sauce. INGREDIENTS:

CHICKEN THIGHS:

  • They are juicier & have a tender texture. They are ideal for sauce-containing recipes, as it soaks it well. We have to use the thin cuts; they retain flavor better.

AVOCADO OIL:

  • This oil has high heat stability, so good for stir-frying at high flame. It has a neutral taste, so it doesn’t overpower the dish.

GARLIC:

  • Garlic adds the aroma and deep taste to the dish. It is best to use the fresh ones for a powerful taste, as the pre-minced garlic doesn’t provide the same taste.

GINGER:

  • The ginger enriches the sauce & balances the garlic. Fresh ginger provides a strong taste.

COCONUT AMINOS:

  • Coconut aminos provide the salty umami taste in the sauce. It provides the same results. You can also use the tamari instead for making a keto dish.

RICE VINEGAR:

  • Rice vinegar adds a tangy taste, and it also balances the sweet and spicy taste. Its acidity will enrich the overall flavors. Apple cider vinegar is also a good choice instead of this if required.

KETO SWEETENER:

  • Utilize Erythritol or monk fruit, as they are keto sweeteners. They add the sweet taste without the carbs.

CHICKEN BROTH:

  • Chicken broth is used to make the base of the sauce. We have to use the low-sodium salt so the sauce doesn’t get salty.

XANTHAN GUM:

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat the oil in a wok on a moderate flame.
  2. Then we can add pieces of chicken to the wok.
  3. Sear the chicken pieces for seven to eight minutes so they get brown and cook properly, and put them in a dish.
  4. Include the garlic & ginger in the wok and sauté for about a minute to get aromatic.
