INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound of ground turkey
  • ½ cup pork rind crumbs
  • 1 piece of garlic
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp. almond milk

TURKEY:

  • Ground turkey is used to make the meatballs, we can also use ground beef, or chicken to make the meatballs with the same recipe.

PORK RIND CRUMBS:

  • Pork rind crumbs are used to bind the meatballs and are used as a substitute for breadcrumbs. We can also use almond & coconut flour, chia & flax seeds, or cheese to bind the meatballs.

GARLIC:

  • Freshly minced garlic is used to enrich the taste of the meatballs. A paste of garlic or its powder will work out to make the turkey meatballs.

EGG:

  • Eggs also act as a binding agent in the meatballs.

MILK:

  • Almond milk is use to prepare these turkey meatballs.

INSTRUCTIONS:

PREPARE:

  1. Heat your air fryer to four hundred degrees F.
  2. Spray the oil in the basket.

MIX THE INGREDIENTS:

  1. Take a bowl (mixing) and add the ground turkey, pork rind crumbs, crushed garlic, dried basil, salt, egg, and almond milk.
  2. Mix all the ingredients properly.

SHAPE THE BALLS:

  1. Make the meatballs with the mixture.
  2. You will get 12-15 meatballs with this mixture.

COOK:

  1. Put the meatballs in the basket in a single layer and cook it for 8 mints.
  2. Flip the meatballs in between to cook it properly.
  3. Check the temperature of the meatballs if it reaches to one-sixty-five degrees F then it is ready to eat.

SERVE:

  1. Put the turkey meatballs to rest for 5 mints before serving.

TIPS:

  • Do not overcook the meatballs; it will not remain juicy if you overcook them. So check its temperature with the meat thermometer.
  • Flip the meatballs in between to get even cooking.
  • Spray the oil in the basket before putting the meatballs in it to avoid getting it stuck in the basket.

  • You can make meatballs with other types of ground meats like beef, chicken, and pork.
