Keto Celery Juice is a refreshing & nutritious drink. It has a lot of health benefits. It cleanses you from the inside and also refreshes your outer skin. You have the wide open choice to customize it which gives you a lot of varieties with lots of health benefits. Keto Celery Juice is a quick drink. It gets ready in under 4 or 5 minutes by only using a juicer/food processor/blender. It doesn’t involve any cooking & this is the amazing part. We always recommend you drink the juice right after processing. So, that you get full nutrients. It will not spoil if we freeze it but will lost its nutrients with time. INGREDIENTS:

  • Water, 1/4 cup
  • Three stalks of celery
  • Juice of half lemon
  • 1 chopped apple (green)
  • Grated ginger (fresh) 1-inch
  • Peeled & sliced cucumber, 1/2

INGREDIENT NOTES:

GREEN APPLE:
Adding green apple gives your celery juice the ideal sweet & light sour taste. It contains some carbs.
You may skip if you’d like to cut your carb intake even further.

WATER:
Include the amount of water according to your choice.

CELERY:
It is the basic item of our celery juice. We always recommend organic celery for more nutrients. You may use which one is available.

JUICE OF LEMON:
It has lots of antioxidants in the form of C vitamin. Its tangy flavor causes a boost in its taste.

CUCUMBER:
The addition of cucumber makes the juice hydrating & refreshing. It fulfills your deficiency of water and nutrients.

GINGER:
The addition of ginger adds a delightful spice. Ginger is a medicated herb and has lots of health benefits.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place the juicer/food processor on the working bench.
  2. Plug the blender into the socket.
  3. Include the apple (green), grated ginger, celery, and cucumber in your juicer.
  4. Process all these items to squeeze out all the juice.
  5. Throw the pulp away.
  6. Squeeze the lemon & mix the juice well.
  7. Now transfer the juice into the glasses.
  8. You may use the cubes of ice to have a chilled drink.
  9. Serve it fresh & chill.

You may get creative with the juice. Use these suggestions to add extra taste & health.

CELERY SEEDS:
The addition of seeds (celery) boosts the nutrition of our juice.

SKIPPING THE APPLE:
If you are too serious to have a low carb count then you may leave the apples. Your carb count decreases even more without apples.

KIWI, CRANBERRIES, OR BEETROOT:
You have the choice to skip the lemon. You may have oranges, cranberries, beetroot, grapefruit, or kiwis to replace lemons. These all are rich in antioxidants like the lemon.

ADDITION FOR HEALTH BOOST:
Including a dash of powdered peppercorn & turmeric helps to boost your health. You may add some fresh mint for an exciting taste and healthy addition.

CARROT:
They have beta-carotene, which is good for vision. You may include 1 or 2 carrots to have sharp & clear vision. It will have a great taste too.

TIPS:

If you don’t have the juicer & you are using the food processor/blender then follow these tricks:
To keep everything moving, you must include some water.
Blend well for some minutes.
Pass it through the fine sieve and press the pulp along to get all the juice out.
To have full nutrients and health benefits, consume the juice as soon as it gets ready.
Try to avoid granulated sweeteners. They may crystallize in the chilled juice.

STORAGE INFORMATION:

As we have discussed above you must consume the juice right after processing. If you still want to store it then you will not get as many nutrients as the fresh juice posses.

FRIDGE:
Use the fridge to keep the juice safe from getting spoiled. If you plan to drink it in 2 or 3 upcoming days then it will be safe in the fridge.

FREEZER:
If you plan to keep the juice safe for longer (150 or 180 days) then use the freezer. Fill the tray of ice cubes with the juice(celery) & freeze it. Transfer into any jar (freezer-safe) once the cubes are completely frozen.

FAQs:

May we drink the juice daily if we like it a lot?
It may serve as a healthy addition to your diet. If you become dependent only on the juice, it will not work. If you like it a lot then make it a part of your regular balanced diet that includes solid food too.

Is every type of juice allowed in the keto diet?
No, the juice we drink outside in restaurants/shops may include lots of sugar. Some of the fruits contain lots of sugar. Thus, we always recommend homemade versions of keto juices. We always made the juice at home by balancing the nutrients (beneficial). So, that we keep the carb count lower.

Yes. It is not quite a big issue if you don’t own the juicer. Use a food processor/full-speed blender to blend the items. If you love to drink the juice along with pulp, then it will be great.
If you don’t want the pulp, then sort it using a sieve (fine mesh)
Press the pulp to extract as most of the juice as possible.
