This simple Keto Flaxseed Bread recipe has the flavor of a nutty multigrain loaf without the grains and gluten. This bread only takes ten minutes to prepare! It is ideal when you want bread that is substantial, sandwich-worthy, and nutty (but not with nuts!). It’s also quite simple to make. This is Keto Flaxseed Bread that is gluten-free and grain-free. Even a dairy-free variant is available. It’s simple to include into your lifestyle, regardless of your demands. Compared to my psyllium husk and almond flour bread, it is softer and less chewy. Just remember that it’s full and substantial. This flex seeds bread contains 8.1g of carbs, 4.3g of fiber, 3.8g of net carbs, and 9.5g of proteins in this flex seeds bread.

EQUIPMENT:

  • Loaf pan
  • Parchment paper
  • Bowl (large)
  • Bowl (medium)
  • Whisk
  • Aluminum foil
  • Toothpick

INGREDIENT:

  • 3 cups Wholesome Yum Blanched Almond Flour
  • One cup Golden flaxseed meal
  • One & half tbsp. Baking powder
  • Two tbsp. monk fruit powder
  • One tsp. Sea salt
  • Eight large Eggs (at ambient temperature)
  • Half cup without salt butter (liquefied)
  • One cup hot water
  • ½ cup Flax seeds (noncompulsory, plus more to dust over the batter if preferred)

INGREDIENTS NOTES:

FLAX SEED MEAL:

  • Also known as ground flaxseed. While regular brown flaxseed meal is good, I prefer the taste of golden. It’s softer. Additionally, you may use a food processor to crush entire golden flax seeds yourself.

FLAX SEEDS:

  • For a little crunch and more texture; I incorporate whole flax seeds into the batter. Pepitas or sunflower seeds will also work.

ALMOND FLOUR:

  • It’s extremely fine grind significantly alters the texture of your flaxseed bread. It might be too abrasive for a lot of brands! Although it’s not a 1:1 substitution, you may use coconut flour if you want to create my coconut flour bread.

BAKING POWDER:

  • Baking powder is added to leaven the flex seed bread. Baking powder and baking soda is not alike; so do not get muddled.

SWEETENER:

  • Instead of making the bread sweet, besti monk fruit powder Blend balances the ingredients to make it taste more like ordinary bread. Other sugar alternatives may be effective, although many of them might leave a grainy texture, such as the majority of goods marketed as “stevia” or “monk fruit,” which typically include Erythritol.

EGGS:

  • Since the yolks are usually what give an eggy taste, you can substitute three egg whites for two of the eggs if you’d like, but I wouldn’t advise doing so since your bread would be too dense.

UNSALTED BUTTER:

  • This grass-fed brand appeals to me. The bread is also prevented from getting dry. Coconut oil with a butter taste is an excellent substitute if you’re looking for something without dairy.

INSTRUCTION:

INCORPORATE THE INGREDIENTS:

  1. Combine flour of almond, meal of flex seeds, baking powder, sea salt, and Besti in a big vessel.

BEAT THE EGGS:

  1. In a bowl (medium), whisk the eggs till they get very frothy, about 2 minutes. Mix the dry ingredients with the eggs.

INCLUDE FLAX SEEDS, WATER, & BUTTER:

  1. Add the heated water after stirring in the melted butter.
  2. It will be a thick mixture. If desired, add the flax seeds.
  3. Transfer the dough with a spoon into a prepared loaf pan.
  4. If desired, add additional flax seeds over top.

BAKE TILL IT GET DONE/GOLDEN BROWN:

  1. Preheat the oven to a dark golden brown, and then bake the bread.
  2. After that, cover the top with foil and keep baking until the top is crispy and the bread feels really firm.

LET IT COOL:

  1. After 10 to 15 minutes of cooling in the pan, move your flaxseed bread to a rack to finish cooling before slicing.
  2. Your Keto Flaxseed Bread is ready!

TIPS:

  • If you don’t use ambient-temperature eggs, the melted butter can cause the eggs to cook or harden.
  • To ensure that the bread isn’t too thick, whisk the eggs well.
  • It will be gooey on the inside if you take it out too soon. When it’s done, look for a hard, crusty top. I also use a toothpick to verify, although usually, it passes the test before it’s completed.
  • The bread may crumble when cut with a standard knife. Use the bread knife to cut the bread.
  • I feel that the texture of the flax bread gets better overnight, so let it cool completely before slicing.
  • I maintained the typical ½-inch serving size, but because this flax seed bread is so substantial and full, I like to cut it thinner, just a little bit thicker than 1/4 inch. It’s more than enough, particularly when preparing a sandwich with two slices.
