- 2 cups blanched almond flour
- 2 cups coconut milk
- ½ cup roasted coconut powder
- 1-2 tablespoon swerve sugar
- ½ teaspoon Cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons ghee or coconut oil
- Nuts or saffron
INGREDIENT NOTES:
ALMOND FLOUR:
- Almond flour is used because this is the recipe for almond halwa or almond fudge.
COCONUT MILK:
- Coconut milk is used in place of full-fat milk. You can also use almond milk; it goes great with almond halwa.
ROASTED COCONUT POWDER:
- Roasted coconut powder is used to make this halwa. It can also give the color to halwa.
GHEE:
- You can make this almond halwa with ghee, coconut oil, and almond oil as well. Both work the same. Adjust the quantity of oil according to requirements.
CARDAMON POWDER
- Cardamom powder is added to enhance the smell and flavor of the almond halwa. You can also add cardamom extract as well it works the same way.
NUTS:
- Nuts are added to the halwa to make it flavor and more nutritious. We can add any type of nuts of choice like almonds, pistachio, walnuts, pecan, and raisins.

INSTRUCTION:
ROAST COCONUT FLAKES:
- Put the coconut flakes in a pan on low flames.
- Roast the coconut flakes until they get a nice brown color.
ROAST THE FLOUR:
- Put the frying pan on low flame. Add the flour of almonds or its paste to the pan.
- Roast the almond flour or paste by tossing it with a rubber spatula at low flame till you smell the almond aroma.
ADD MILK:
- Add low-carb almond milk or coconut milk in the almond flour or paste and mix it properly.
- Cook the halwa at low flame and mix in between after adding the milk otherwise it starts to burn easily from the sides.
- Include the powder of cardamom and flakes of coconut in the halwa and mix it properly.
- Make the consistency of halwa thick by continuously mixing it.
- Then add the swerve sweetener to the almond halwa and mix well. This keto halwa gets its color from roasted coconut flakes.
- When the almond halwa starts to release from the pan pour the ghee coconut oil or almond oil into the halwa.
- Cook the halwa for a few minutes after the addition of ghee and halwa is ready.
- Take a serving bowl add the halwa to the bowl and top it with rose petals, nuts, and saffron.
