INGREDIENTS:

The ingredients must be fresh and healthy:

  • Ginger nut biscuits 10-12 (homemade)
  • Almond Milk ½ cup
  • Butter 55 ml
  • 100 g swerve sugar
  • Keto-friendly Maple syrup (1 cup)

Making of the maple syrup:

  • Water about 1 cup
  • Swerve sweetener ½ cup
  • 3 tablespoons keto-friendly maple extract

INGREDIENT NOTES:

GINGER BISCUIT:

  • Use homemade ginger nut biscuits also known as ginger snaps. Avoid using store bought ginger nut biscuits as they are high in carbs. If you are using store brought read the label properly if they are free of sugar and low in carbs.

Swerve sugar

  • Normal recipe of ginger nut waffles uses brown sugar which is not good for keto diet, so I use swerve sugar in these waffles.

INSTRUCTION:

Steps to make the maple syrup:

  1. Take the non-stick pan and add the water, swerve sugar, and some butter.
  2. Put it on heat (low) and stir it with the spoon.
  3. After boiling the syrup, add the keto-friendly maple extract.

Making the ginger waffles:

  1. Add milk (almond) to the bowl a room temperature.
  2. Put all the softened biscuits into the waffle maker, so that they overlap each other.
  3. Press the lid for 3-5 minutes, unless the biscuits become golden brown and crunchy.
  4. Take the plate and place the waffle in it, add the butter and the keto-friendly maple syrup which we make.
