Instructions:

  1. Set two cookie sheets with paper towels or silicone mats inside and preheat the grill to 325 degrees.
  2. Beat the butter and sweetener in a large bowl til they are creamy, which should take approximately two minutes.
  3. Mix in the spices and vanilla.
  4. Beat in the baking soda, salt, and almond flour till the dough comes together.
  5. Separate the dough into equal halves.
  6. Lightly dust an area of work with almond flour.

Notes:

There’s no baking powder because these cookies aren’t supposed to rise. However, a small amount of baking soda prevents them from rising when baking and helps them color properly.
