Keto Turkey Bake is low in carbs because Turkey has no carbohydrates and if we use skinless Turkey then we have only lean meat which is high in proteins but extremely low in carbs and fats. To compensate, we have to take healthy fats from other sources. Keto Turkey Bake is so Deliciously Juicy because of its different Stuffing and Blend of Herbs that give it a unique flavor that everyone would like.

EQUIPMENT:

  • Oven 1
  • Aluminium Foil
  • Roasting Pan 1

INGREDIENTS:

  • One whole Turkey 425 grams.
  • 1 Orange, Medium.
  • Carrot 1
  • Two Celery Stalks
  • A Medium Onion
  • 1 Tablespoon of Salt.
  • Dried Parsley 2 Tbsp.
  • One Tablespoon of lemon-pepper seasoning.
  • Rosemary 2 Tablespoons
  • Two Tablespoon of Thyme leaves.
  • 2 Tbsp. of Sage.
  • 412 ml of Chicken Broth.
  • One Champagne Bottle, 750 ml.

INGREDIENT NOTES

HERBS: All herbs that we are using in this recipe must be dried and ground or rubbed.
TURKEY: We use the Whole of Turkey in this recipe. Just empty it by removing the neck and giblets and making the cavity for stuffing.
CARROT & CELERY: Cut into Half inch slices.
ONION: You have to cut a Medium Onion into large pieces.
ORANGE: Take a medium Orange and cut it into Wedges for stuffing.

INSTRUCTIONS:

PREPARATION:

  1. Spread a long enough sheet of Aluminium Foil on a Roasting Pan and place it away.
  2. Set the Oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
  3. Collect All the Ingredients.
  4. Take a small bowl. Add Thyme, Salt, Parsley, Lemon-Pepper seasoning, Rosemary, and Sage. Combine well.
  5. Cut Oranges and Onion, and Chop Carrots and Celery as directed.

STUFFING:

  1. Take the prepared mixture of Herbs and spread it inside the whole cavity of the Turkey.
  2. Now take the chopped Veggies and fill the Cavity of the Turkey with them.
  3. Attach the turkey’s legs with a piece of string.
  4. Pinch the Wings to the Body.
  5. Now take your Stuffed Turkey and keep it in the Roasting Pan.
  6. Dip it in the Chicken Broth and Champagne carefully so that they both go into the cavity as well.

BAKING:

  1. Take the extended portion of foil and seal wrap Turkey in such a way that the foil doesn’t touch it.
  2. Put Turkey in a preheated Oven for 150-180 minutes.
  3. After that, Bake for Half an hour without a foil cover to make it golden brown from the top.
  4. Now, it is ready to serve.

TIPS:

  1. If you want to make the top of the Turkey full of flavors then sprinkle some spice mix on the Surface as well.
  2. Make sure to take a deep Roasting pan because the champagne and chicken broth would take space to boil up.
  3. You can replace Champagne with white wine as well.

STORAGE:

If you have leftover turkey, Keep it in a zip-lock bag and make sure to remove as much air as possible.
For 3 or 4 days, keep it refrigerated.

Yes, Turkey is very much Keto-friendly. It has 0 grams of Carbohydrates and high Protein. It has Fats only in the Skin. So if we remove the skin, we Only get lean meat with no carbs and fats. We have to use other sources of healthy fats to compensate.

How much time will the turkey take to cook?

It takes about fifteen minutes per pound to cook Turkey. We took fifteen Pound so, it would take 3-3.5 hours to cook.

Which temperature is suitable for baking Turkey?

Our oven needs to be adjusted to 180 C, or 350 degrees F. This would be the ideal temperature to roast Turkey and make it tender.
