- ⅓ cup Red Wine Vinegar
- 2 large Red Peppers roughly diced
- 1-3 Cayenne Chilis
- 2 medium Spanish Onions thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons Water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1-3 teaspoons Swerve
- 3 cloves Garlic sliced
- On high heat, place a medium saucepan.
- Once the onion is tender, add the oil, garlic, and onion.
- After adding, sauté the peppers and chiles for 5 minutes.
- Add the vinegar and water after lowering the heat to medium.
- The peppers should be simmered until the liquid has disappeared and they are soft enough to be broken up with a spoon.
- After 20 minutes, turn off the heat and let the food cool.
- We like our relish spreadable but slightly chunky, so use an immersion blender to mix it to your preferred consistency.
- Add salt and sweetener to taste.
- Immediately consume or put in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
