- Avocado oil is used to caramelize the Brussels sprouts, we can also use olive oil or coconut oil for this purpose.
BRUSSELS SPROUTS:
- We should use fresh Brussels sprouts to make this crispy. If we use frozen Brussels sprouts they will get mushy.
BUTTER:
- I utilize salted butter to make these Brussels sprouts but you can also utilize unsalted butter as well.

INSTRUCTION:
- Take the large skillet and put the skillet on medium heat.
- Pour the oil in the skillet & heat the oil till it gets shimmer.
- Put the Brussels sprouts in the skillet in one layer.
- Cook them till they get brown for like 2 minutes.
- Turn the sprouts with the spatula then cover the pan and cook for more 2 – 3 minutes till they become soft and crispy.
- Put them in a medium bowl and add some black pepper powder & salt to season them.
- Then add the butter in the same hot skillet and cook the butter till it gets a nice brown color but doesn’t get burned.
- Put the butter on the sprouts and adjust the pepper powder & salt according to the preference.
