INGREDIENTS:
- Grated cheddar cheese, 6 tbsp.
- Six eggs, large.
- 3/8th teaspoon of pepper powder (black)
- Six tsp of chopped chives (fresh)
- A three-fourth teaspoon of salt.

CHEESE:
You may use any of the shredded or crumbled cheeses. We are using cheddar shredded cheese here.
EGGS:
You may use the size that you wish. It takes more time for large eggs and vice versa. If you want liquid egg yolks so you have use chill eggs. Your eggs should not be at the surrounding temperature.
HERBS:
They are not compulsory or mandatory. Use any herb of your choice to give a different kick of flavor.
SEASONING:
It is not compulsory to stick to black pepper powder & salt. You may use the seasonings of your choice like garlic powder, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Grab the base part of the coddler pan and fill it with water that should be enough to dip the egg cups.
- Place it on the full flame and wait for the boil to come.
- Lower the flame to normal once the boil starts.
- At this point, coat the sides and base of each cup of egg with oil.
- Now place the lid holding the egg cups on the boiling water.
- Break an egg into every coddler cup.
- Include a powder of peppercorns & salt.
- Sprinkle chives & grated cheese.
- Wait till egg whites become solid and the yolk remains liquid.
- If you want a solid yolk then wait for some more time.
- Switch the stove off.
- Pick up each of the cups wearing hand gloves.
- Separate the eggs from the sides.
- Transfer them to the serving plate.
TIPS:
- Be careful to give the time according to the size of the eggs to cook. The larger the egg, the longer the time it takes to cook.
- All your eggs in a single coddler must be of the same size. Otherwise, some yolks will be hard till we wait for the large egg whites to become cooked.
