Keto Crustless Quiche Lorraine

Keto Crustless Quiche Lorraine Another delectable traditional French meal is quiche Lorraine. An elegant term for a straightforward cuisine that includes bacon and eggs (from the Lorraine area of France). Bacon, eggs, cream, and cheese are the essential components of a Quiche Lorraine. To cut down on the carbs, Joanie often makes her version without a crust. Eight slices from her recipe, each with only 3.5g of carbohydrates, are produced. It is the ideal Keto dish because it has so much bacon! Give this one a try; it will quickly become a mainstay of the keto diet whether you eat it for breakfast, lunch, brunch, or even a light dinner!

As I said, the four ingredients are bacon, eggs, cream, and cheese. Some people will substitute milk or half-and-half for the cream in an effort to lighten the meal. a serious error. The cream is necessary since it increases flavour and fluffiness. Some recipes make an effort to spice things up by adding spinach, cayenne pepper for heat, cheddar cheese in place of Swiss cheese, and even Dijon mustard for a French flair. Although they would all be great, Joanie prefers to keep this one a little more conventional.

Joanie alters the original recipe in two small ways. Instead of Swiss cheese, she prefers Jarlsberg. It tastes almost like a cross between Swiss and gouda. It has amazing nutty flavour and irregularly shaped holes. It’s a Norwegian cheese that has a butterier feel than classic Swiss cheese. If you can’t locate it in your market, you can purchase it directly. Simply click the link or the term Jarlsberg above. It works great for “kick-starting” our Quiche Lorraine, in our opinion.
