INGREDIENT NOTES:

EGGS:

  • If you want the perfect baking, your eggs must be at normal standard temperature.

COCONUT FLOUR:

  • The small addition of coconut flour will help you handle the pie more easily, so this addition would benefit you.

FLOUR OF ALMOND:

  • Here we are using flour of almond but you may go for the meal of Almond if you don’t have flour. We recommend using the flour (almond) for a nice & smooth texture.

MINT:

  • The addition of mint takes this to another level. Always try to use fresh mint to have a stronger flavor.

CREAM CHEESE:

  • We recommend using cream cheese that must be full of fat. Go for the ricotta cheese in the event that you are without cream cheese.

ONION:

  • It is always better to chop the onion by yourself. You may go for the pre-chopped version if you are short on time. We recommend you use the fresh onion (white) to have the best results.

FETA CHEESE:

  • Again full-fat cheese should be used here. If you don’t get the feta cheese then you may also go for cottage cheese.

INSTRUCTIONS:

MAKING OF PIE-CRUST:

  1. Heat the empty oven to 350 F then start your work.
  2. Grab a big vessel & gather all the items of the pie crust.
  3. Include both keto flour, egg, salt, & powdered peppercorn in that vessel.
  4. Mix well using the spoon to have the perfect mixture.
  5. Apply oil on the bottom & all sides of the pie dish.
  6. Shift the mixture of the pie crust on that oiled dish.
  7. Use the piece of paper, even the pie crust layer either using a glass tumbler/the back of your hand.
  8. Pick a fork & pierce through the crust, making holes all over the crust.
  9. Shift the pan to the oven & cook it for about fifteen minutes.
  10. After that remove that pie dish from the oven.

MAKING OF FILLING:

  1. Place the spinach out from the freezer and thaw it.
  2. Separate all the water from the spinach by squashing it and add it in the vessel.
  3. Include all the rest of the items in that spinach.
  4. Mix to combine well to have a smooth filling.
  5. Properly lined the filling to the crust of pie that has cooled after baking.
  6. Now, again shift the pie dish to the oven for about forty (40).
  7. After that time, check if the center is cooked or not.
  8. Your Keto Spinach Pie is ready.

TIPS:

  • To bake the even and crispy crust we recommend making holes in the crust.
  • You can use the fresh spinach if you not have frozen spinach. You just need to cook and evaporate all its water before making the filling.

STORAGE INFORMATION:

This pie is very storage-friendly. Once, it cools down, cover it using the wrap & keep it in the sealed container.
It will be safe without any chiller for six to eight hours.

FRIDGE:
