INGREDIENTS:

For scones:

  • Two cups almond flour
  • Six-tablespoon swerve sweetener

INSTRUCTION:

For scones:

  1. On the oven and heat it to three-twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Put the baking sheet on the tray (baking) and apply the oil on the sheet (baking).
  3. Place a large bowl and add the dry ingredients two cups of almond flour, six tablespoons of swerve sweetener, two teaspoons of baking powder, and half a teaspoon of salt.
  4. Pour the liquid ingredients into one large lightly beaten egg, a quarter cup of unsalted butter, two tablespoons of whipping cream, half a teaspoon of vanilla extract, and two teaspoons of cinnamon powder.
  5. Mix both ingredients properly and form the dough.
  6. Take a small bowl and mix two tablespoons of sweetener and crushed cinnamon. Dust the dough with this mixture.
  7. Place the dough on the baking sheet from the dusted side and dust the remaining mixture on the other side.
  8. Cut the wedges with the help of a knife carefully.
  9. Make a cavity in between the wedges on the sheet (baking) put it in the oven and allow it to bake for a few minutes (twenty to twenty-five).
  10. When the scones get baked take them out from the oven and allow them to cool down for five minutes in a pan then take it out and place it on a wire rack to cool down completely.

For making icing:

  1. Take a medium bowl, add the cream cheese and sweetener, and beat it with the electric hand mixer.
  2. Add the cream (whipped) and vanilla extract to the cheese (cream) and mix it till it appears into a mixture (smooth).
  3. Pour the whipped cream and cream cheese mixture into the piping bag and decorate the cooled scones.

TIPS:

  • For perfect scones, you can carefully mix the ingredients.
  • You can add any other flavor as well like cranberry or orange to make these scones.
  • Sugar-free Choco chips or some cinnamon powder should be sprinkled on them.
