Keto-Cilantro Aioli

The Keto-Cilantro Aioli is the perfect condiment recipe. It is usually for topping other dishes like meat and other spicy items. Furthermore, all you need is a few basic ingredients and a few minutes to prepare and save an aioli jar in the fridge for use throughout the week. Moreover, though the possibilities are truly endless, one of my favorite things to spread this sauce on is crispy fish tacos or anything Mexican.

Tips for making this recipe:

Before processing, let the eggs come to room temperature to minimize the possibility of the sauce shattering. Use pasteurizing egg yolks if you’re worried about the possibility of food illness from raw eggs.
Because lime juice is an acid, it stabilizes the sauce in addition to adding taste. If you would like, you can use lime zest.
Oil contributes to the sauce’s rich, creamy emulsification. Use mild olive oil if you don’t like the hard taste of olive oil. To prevent the emulsification from breaking, just make sure the oil is at the temperature of the room, just like the eggs, and add it in a very thin trickle.

Ingredients:

  • Ground cumin: 1/2 tsp.
  • Garlic cloves: 2.
  • Olive oil: 1 cup.
  • Egg yolks: 2.
  • Salt.
  • Chopped fresh cilantro: 1/2 cup.
  • Lime juice: 1 tbsp.

Instructions:

  1. Put the egg yolks, garlic, lemon juice, and a quarter teaspoon of salt in a food processor.
  2. To blend, turn on the food processor.
  3. Put the olive oil in a hard stream while the meal mixer is pulsing it.
  4. The oil will start to thicken the mixture as it is added.
  5. Add the cumin and cilantro, and toss to blend after adding the oil.
  6. If necessary, taste and add additional salt.

Notes:

  • Serve over chicken or fish tacos, as a condiment for veggies or fries, or on sandwiches or burgers.

Storage information:

  • This coriander aioli gets kept for up to a week in the freezer in an airtight container.
  • It is difficult to freeze this sauce. Keep cool for a maximum of 7 days.
