Let’s dive into the recipe!

Recipe: Keto Glazed Donuts

Ingredients:

For the Donuts:
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated erythritol (or any keto-friendly sweetener of your choice)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any low-carb milk)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup powdered erythritol (or any keto-friendly powdered sweetener)
  • 2-3 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk (adjust for desired thickness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

For the Donuts:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, granulated erythritol, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter, eggs, unsweetened almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a smooth batter forms.
  5. Carefully spoon the batter into the greased donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the donuts are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the donuts from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Glaze:
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered erythritol, unsweetened almond milk, and vanilla extract until you have a smooth glaze. Adjust the amount of almond milk for your desired glaze consistency.
Assembling:
  1. Once the donuts are completely cool, dip the top of each donut into the glaze, allowing any excess to drip off.
  2. Place the glazed donuts back on the wire rack to set for about 10-15 minutes.
