Simple strawberry treat that is keto-friendly. Since cream cheese bakes well inside the almond flour cobbler recipe, the inclusion of cream cheese gives this a more creamy texture without making it overly smooth.

I was wondering what to make with a large punnet of strawberries that were a rare find on the island that week as I looked through what I had in the refrigerator. Make the most of a rare find when creating a recipe!

Although I considered a couple strawberry cheesecake recipes for a simple choice and bought a huge block of cream cheese because it was on sale (never pass up a low carb bargain), my mind immediately thought of a strawberry cobbler with cream cheese.

We both enjoy the low-carb berry cobbler I make, so adding strawberries to it was a terrific summertime option. To make a cheesecake-inspired homage, I added dollops of cream cheese to my ideal strawberry dessert. a comforting strawberry dish made with my cheap cream cheese. Overall success!

The Chief Taster is fortunate that I had myself practice self-control while eating a piece of the baked strawberry cream cheese cobbler since it was absolutely excellent. I’ll admit that after baking, documenting it with photos, and then feeding myself some of it, I did think, “He’s at work. He won’t know if you consumed the entire meal. When you post the recipe on the website, he won’t visit it. He will not be aware. It’s the ideal crime for dessert! I did leave him some though after watching the wedding video and writing out the vows.

      1. I was going to ask this also. Guess we will both have to wait for a reply—or, use our own good judgement.

  1. The pictures look different between the one posted on FB and the one in the recipe page. One looks like it has a glaze on it. (FB). What size baking dish is used? 9×13?

  2. I want to try this. Please clarify on what 4 grains of salt means. And what size pan.

    Thanks.
