KETO MICROWAVE PEANUT BUTTER BREAD. It’s very simple to create this low-carb and ketogenic bread. The ingredients are combined in a mug, and the bread cooks in the microwave in less than 2 minutes. Despite being flourless, the bread has a similar feel to conventional bread. For open-face toast or tiny sandwiches, it works beautifully.

The bread is quite soft when it is finished, tastes faintly of peanut butter, and is not sweet. Slice it into small circles after it has finished cooking. The bread slices can be used to make little sandwiches, toast them, or spread with your favorite nut butter.

SELECTING A MUG

To create this dish, you will need a microwave-mug that can hold at least 16 ounces of liquid. I advise staying with mugs that are of the typical shape. Using a mug that is abnormally tall and narrow or short and extra wide can have a significant impact on cooking time.  When the bread was done cooking, it filled the mug to the brim.

COOKING ADVICE

To combine all the ingredients, use a little whisk. . Lift your whisk from the batter a few times to check the egg whites since it can be challenging to see them once they are coated in peanut butter.

In the US, the majority of more recent microwave ovens have wattages between 1000 and 1200. I discovered that this is overly potent and slightly overcooks the bread, causing certain pieces to turn slightly hard. Therefore, you will need to change the cooking power for this recipe so that it only uses 800 watts.
The temperature of the batter and the thickness of the cup can both affect cooking time even when the wattage is set to the same level in all microwave ovens.

DOES VINEGAR NEED TO BE USED?

Undoubtedly, vinegar is necessary for this recipe. No, you won’t detect the vinegar. Baking soda is activated by vinegar, which is present. After extensive experimentation, I discovered that the optimum rise to produce a texture resembling bread is produced by this vinegar and baking soda mixture. Although I gave it a shot, the texture just wasn’t the same with baking powder.

BREAD SERVING REQUIREMENTS

By inserting a spoon into the bottom of the bread and lifting it up, you should be able to lift the entire loaf out of the mug once the bread has done cooking.

The bread can then be cut into rounds that are 1/2 inch thick using a bread knife. The bread is fine eaten plain. Additionally, I enjoy toasting it with butter or almond butter. Additionally, I make avocado toast with it. It is also suitable for use as sandwich bread.
